Over the weekend I picked up some new wheels for my 240sx they’re p45fs (18×8.5 +25) in the front and p45rs (18×9.5 +35) in the rear, they’re replica of the Nissan Track Edition wheels that go for $900 a piece new. The guy I bought them from had them on his 240sx and they fit quite well. These were the wheels I was considering buying anyway so when I saw them for sale used at a good price I picked them up.

On my old site I had posted up a little project where I created a custom case for my Killer Bunnies card collection. If you’re not familiar with the game you should check it out. Just about everyone who I’ve introduced to it has loved it.
Recently I discovered that Jeff Blankenburg had mimiced my project. I’m always happy when the stuff I do inspires people to go out and make things themselves.
I decided to move the project page over here to Solid-Orange since I plan on retiring web-nine in the near future. You can now find the Killer Bunnies Case on the Hacks page.
My 2 pair of S305s from Cambridge Soundworks came in today. I always love when Ground shipping from Boston ends up being overnight. My plan is to paint these black to blend into the room, oddly enough looking at where the enclosure changes from black around the speakers to white on the outside it’s clear that it’s manufactured naturally black and CS painted it white after the fact.
My biggest concern is the grill material, I’m wondering if I can dye it, the next most perplexing part is the 3 way switch, particularly because the label is painted onto the enclosure as well.
One interesting thing about di-pole speakers is that they’re directional, notice this speaker is meant for the right hand side, the other included speaker is designed for the left.
